Latherly Soaps News!

Hi everyone!

Thank you for checking out my new and improved, bigger and better (in this case bigger IS better) Latherly Soaps website. It's finally up and running thanks to GoDaddy's WebSite Tonight, and their customer service reps who answered my questions 'till the wee hours.

And let's have a special round of applause for Patricia Braine of Silver Images Vermont, who took all of the soap and nature photos. Hip Hip Hooray! She makes taking pictures look easy, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. We worked for almost five hours in my kitchen, and had a blast! Though my kitchen was left in complete disarray - soap every where, everything out of place. I figured the only thing to do was have a pint of Ben and Jerry's, and clean up the mess in the morning!

I am also thrilled to be offering Judith Citarella's one of a kind hand painted gift cards, with handmade envelopes made by yours truly! Don't know what to give your office buddy, long time friend, or mother-in-law? How about  for the coffee drinkers, a few bars of Javalicious! and Mystic Sunrise with a gift card. Or for gardeners, the Morning Glory, Lavender Dreams, and Body And Soul! Add the Nourishing Body Oil and the Rich Calendula Salve, and they'll be your best friends for life! All neatly tucked in a soft cotton gift bag also made by yours truly!

And check out the Latherly News every two weeks for the latest happenings and announcements - the first being that Fancy Free! A sweet citrus bar for the young at heart, will be listed for sale by the end of October. Also Patricia's exhibit of Vermont through the seasons will be updated as often as I get new photos from her.

Dear customers, I am happy to hear what you think of my products, and any questions or suggestions you may have are welcome. So please don't be shy, and I look forward to hearing from you!

Keep getting those hands dirty!
'Till next time,

Mara McReynolds

Has milkweed ever looked more beautiful?

Patricia and I met through the Micro Business Development Program here in Burlington. I was so impressed with her enthusiasm and zest  for life, that without seeing any of her work I asked if she would take the photos for my new website. Am I glad she said yes!!

Thanks, Patricia.

This past July Judith and I struck up a conversation at Kinkos, and I told her I'd be interested in selling her  handmade cards on my website.  A few days later I received an envelope filled with her beautiful creations, each with a lovely handwritten quote. I then burst into a smile that showed my pearly whites across Lake Champlain, and I knew that our meeting was meant to be!

Thanks, Judith!
